Limited Raids on Local GO Wild Area 2024 in Fukuoka
What are limited raids?
Limited raids are hard-to-find raids since they spawn only in small parts of the world. On GO Wild Area 2024 local event, Origin Palkia, Origin Dialga, Low Key Toxtricity, and Amped Toxtricity raids are only available in Fukuoka, which makes it very hard to find trainers to host those raids.
This leads to a serious problem: A very few hosts lead to many sad guests who want to attend those raids but won't have a chance.
Why are GO Wild Area Fukuoka local raids limited availability in PokeRaid?
There are 2 reasons why these raids are limited:
1. There are very few hosts that host local raids
Most trainers in Fukuoka do not have the motivation to host those raids in PokeRaid because they don't need remote trainers to beat the raid boss.
2. Primary Reason: PokeRaid pays trainers with real currency to host those raids in PokeRaid
PokeRaid started a new revenue-share model, Frontliner, where we offer Amazon, Play Store, and App Store gift cards for hosting high-demand raids. At local GO Wild Area Fukuoka, we announced that trainers who host Origin Palkia, Origin Dialga, Low Key Toxtricity, or Amped Toxtricity raids would get these rewards. However, it is a very costly operation, so we had to restrict those raids to the guests who purchased a Mega Subscription or reserve a slot.

On 2023 local GO Fest, the average Auto Join wait time was around 1 day whereas it was 30 minutes at local GO Fest 2024 with the help of Frontliners and this restriction.
How can I join limited availability GO Wild Area: Fukuoka raids?
There are 2 ways you can join limited raids on Local GO Wild Area Fukuoka:
1. Be a Mega Trainer

What about other GO Wild Area Local raids that are not listed in PokeRaid as limited availability?
Since the most demanded Pokémon are Origin Palkia, Origin Dialga, Low Key Toxtricity, and Amped Toxtricity, PokeRaid only offers the Frontliner rewards to trainers who host their raids. Other GO Wild Area 2024 Fukuoka raids are also available to host and join. However, the Auto Join queue may be too long, or you might wait too long to join a room.
